I went here again last month and after 10 years, was so happy that it was just as good as I remembered. I had the same waiter, who has been a part of the team since the restaurant opened. He is super charming and helpful, and loves to talk about food. I ordered one of their specials based on the host's recommendation and had absolutely zero regrets. The sauce was so flavorful and the pasta has the chewy texture that makes all of their dishes shine. Overall, the dish was probably the most delicious thing I've eaten all year. And the prices are very reasonable. I no longer live in LA, but this is one of the spots that I will be making a point to visit when I'm in town.

I came to celebrate a friend's anniversary and we were seated in our own little tent table outside and it was really nice. They have heat lamps if it's too cold, but we didn't need them. We started with the garlic bread. You get like 4 small pieces. But it is tasty. You also get complimentary bread for the table. We also ordered the burrata, and that was yummy. I ordered the Bigoli Della Nonna and the pasta was perfectly cooked Al dente as it should be. They make all the pasta fresh and you can taste the freshness. I also tried the Boccoletti Al Pesto Y Ricotta and it was good, if you enjoy a full pesto dish. Overall the pastas were tasty and I love that it's handmade daily. They serve wine, and I had a glass of the house red and it was also nice. I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for some fresh yummy pasta.

Table seating only, no bar seating. They do not take reservations. Wait time was 35 minutes for me on a Sunday evening. And there are no chairs or benches to use while waiting so you have to stand and wait. Someone pointed out a small bench near the parking garage. I walked across the street and waited at the Grand Central Market. The garlic bread at Maccheroni Republic was some of the best I've ever had, seriously. They do not hold back on the garlic, oil, butter and everything else they put on that bread. It was toasted to perfection. I also ordered the shrimp and bacon pasta. I expected larger pieces of bacon rather than crumbly pieces that reminded me of the bacon bits. The pasta, however, was outstanding. It was so smooth and the texture was delightful. The cream sauce adhered to the pasta as if it was melted into the pasta. It was so good. I can see why this is a Michelin star restauarant.

We started off with complimentary bread. You can never go wrong with the starter bread. We ordered pappardelle al cinghiale and bigoli della nona. Both pastas were packed with flavor and so so yummy! You can really taste the freshness of the noodles. They lowk tasted the same, just w different noodles LOL. I will definitely return! We sat in the patio & I really loved how nice it was!

Amazing ambiance and the host/manager really gets the right energy for your dining experience. I ordered the Broccolini pasta and it was amazing. My partner got the signature dish- which was thick but he loved it. Great pasta - great quality. If you sit outside try to sit closest to inside ( the bugs and the trees were a problem with our olive oil and red wine LOL)

I came by on a Thursday afternoon for lunch with my work peers, and surprisingly we were seated fast for a party of 7. Maccheroni does not take reservations so I didn't have any expectations coming in. The service here is attentive, I really liked the ambiance here and the outdoors had a patio area with greenery that was really nice :) Food here was good! Before I came here, I saw a review on Tiktok regarding their homemade pasta and from my experience, I can definitely tell the difference with the texture of the pasta, a lot more chewier and less starchy. I ordered the Agnolotti pasta, it was good, but very flavorful. Maybe too flavorful? The salsa verde was an interesting take for me, it was creamy version of salsa verde. However, it was just on a saltier side. I do wish there was more balsamic drizzle, but it was still good. The pasta itself was really good, it reminds me of dumplings in a form of pasta!

Food and ambiance is perfect for a humble Michelin star date night. Service was great. Super friendly and professional staff. You could tell all their employees take pride and joy working there. For sure coming back. The owner, (I am assuming), was super friendly and welcoming. I licked my plate clean... Thank yall!!

Had a great experience here for dinner on a Sunday night! They don't take reservations so you do have to wait a bit depending on the night. We were seating pretty quickly, maybe 30/45 minutes of waiting and we were not disappointed by the food! Their pasta were so good, and a good portion! My favorite was their signature dish which I thought would feel heavy but it was pretty light! The wild boar ragu pappardelle was super yummy as well! We also ordered their bone marrow which was on their online menu and not their paper menus inside but it was so good! You got so much of the marrow servings with this dish which is hard to find at a lot of restaurants! This place is located in DTLA and there's a parking lot right night to it for conscience but street parking can be found as well! Despite being in DTLA, they have decorated the restaurant where you forget you're in the middle of a city! The greenery within the restaurant and the old school decor is very pleasant ambiance! Definitely recommend trying this place if you're in the area as the staff is super sweet and the food was fabulous!

Maccheroni is one of the better restaurants in DTLA for both its ambiance and food. The ambiance is very nice and coming here on a nice day is one of the better things to do in DTLA. The outside seating is shaded and they have a privacy hedge so you're not in direct contact with outside pedestrians. The wait staff is super friendly and very attentive. The food is very good. Period. There's complimentary bread that comes at the beginning of your meal, and there's olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious. There were big pieces of calamari and it tasted great. It came with a red pepper aioli which was unique. For one of our mains, we ordered a Bianchi & Neri, which is their signature dish and its certainly a great dish of theirs. I liked it the best. It's very simple, but both flavorful and visually very appealing. For our second main, we ordered an Agnolotti di Ossobuco. It was good, but not as good as I expected. The filling was very rich, almost too rich. But very flavorful. There was no contrast in texture. Overall, fantastic restaurant; we would come back again, which is saying a lot since there's an endless amount of restaurants in LA. A
